Co-creator Steven Knight (of Peaky Blinders fame) revealed that six of the eight planned episodes are already written. Filming is expected once Hardy’s schedule clears, with Knight declaring, “We know what the story is. Tom and I have always known we had to do this.”

While the new season’s plot remains tightly guarded, Hardy has dropped some fascinating hints. In a conversation with Esquire, he floated the idea of a time-jump — even suggesting we might one day see the Delaney legacy tangled in conflicts like the Vietnam War.
